I own several rental properties and have been fairly lucky about the tenants that have lived in them. There have only been three instances in which I had some issues to take care of before I could rent the apartments out because the former tenants weren't the best at keeping it in good condition. One problem that I have had and needed to learn how to resolve is cigarette smoke damage.
